Pitaya, or dragon fruit, provides an antioxidant boost, and helps support healthy hair, skin, and more. Used as a base along with frozen fruits, this recipe is not only healthy but also delicious. The pitaya gives a deep, rich red-violet color when you are finished blending. This recipe has a lot of room for customization with the toppings.

Puree Ingredients

Milk

60 ml almond milk or seed milk

frozen fruit

250 ml mixed frozen fruit

pitaya

1 pack of pitaya

Topping Ingredients

goji berries

60 ml goji berries

cacao nibs

60 ml raw cacao

banana

1 ripe fresh banana

Directions

  • Add the almond milk (or seed milk), frozen fruits, and frozen pitaya into your blending container
  • Blend until you no longer hear larger chunks hitting the blade.
  • Make the recipe your own by adding toppings that you like. Add banana slices and top with goji berries and cacao nibs. 
  • Serve and enjoy!
